Welcome to FC Èzidxan

Integration and tolerance are very important here!

Everyone is welcome!

We would like to introduce ourselves

In 2014, IS (Islamic State) began the horrific genocide against the Yazidi people. An estimated 17,000 men and women had to pay for this crime with their lives. Many survivors had to look for a new home. Some of them were able to find this in Germany.

It is well known that it is very difficult to gain a foothold in a foreign country where you don't know anyone. Get to know new people, integrate into a group and find your way around your new home with its many different rules and traditions?

It's not all that easy...

In 2017, Hassan Catuk realized that the newcomers needed to be helped. True to the motto “Sport brings people together”, he immediately knew what to do. He founded a football club, initially for Yazidis.

FC Èzidxan e.V. was born!

Since then it has offered all Yazidis a sporting home. However, immediately after its founding, Hassan Catuk realized that integration could only work if FC Èzidxan e.V. opened up to all football players of all backgrounds. No matter where from, no matter what religion, no matter what language.

We can now count a large number of players with different nationalities as members. So we not only have Turks and Iraqis in our club, but also players from Bugundi, Senegal and Germany.

We welcome EVERYONE!

Of course, we want to continue to grow and are always happy when we welcome new, tolerant, friendly players who enjoy football and winning together.

We are therefore looking forward to welcoming you soon. You are welcome to drop by at any time and take part in one or two trial training sessions.

You'll definitely get to know each other better over a beer together afterwards.

7 years of club history - and already experienced so much!

In 2017 we started in the 4th district class. Nobody would have thought that we wouldn't stay long after all. After just one season we were able to celebrate direct promotion to the 3rd district class.
But it shouldn't stop there either. Every year we were able to climb one step further up the podium, all the way to the 1st district class!
Unfortunately, like all other clubs in Germany, we were hit by the corona virus. The season quickly ended after just 3 match days.
We were then allowed to start again in the 2nd district class. We can continue to compete in this demanding class.

For a club with only one men's team and one over-40 men's team and such a young club history, this is a proud beginning. You can build on that.

Maybe you'll shoot us to the top of the table soon or scrape the "pill" off the line for us at the last second?
